Forgr is a fitness-tracking tool for the general public. It provides no diagnosis or medical advice and is in no way a substitute for the opinion of a healthcare professional.
Not a medical device
Forgr is not a medical device within the meaning of applicable regulations. The information displayed is provided for informational and educational purposes only.
Limits of the estimates
Some metrics are estimates derived from general statistical formulas, not clinical measurements:
- BMI does not distinguish muscle from fat and may overstate the build of muscular people.
- Estimated body fat (Deurenberg formula) and basal metabolic rate (Mifflin-St Jeor formula) are approximations that depend on self-reported data (age, gender, height, weight).
- These values may differ significantly from measurements taken by a professional (bioimpedance, DEXA, etc.).
Before you train
Consult a doctor before starting or changing a training program, especially if you have a medical history, an injury, are pregnant, have a chronic condition, or are resuming physical activity after a break.
Stop any exercise immediately if you experience pain, faintness, abnormal breathlessness or dizziness, and consult a healthcare professional.
Liability
You use Forgr and the information it provides at your own risk. The publisher cannot be held liable for the consequences of improper use or misinterpretation of the displayed data. If in doubt about your health, a professional's opinion always prevails.
